This aquarium has nothing in it I was letting it cycle for a few months before adding anything to it. I have another one exactly the same just with 2 snails in it which doesn't get algae blooms.
I forgot it for a month and the algae got really long, I wiped it all off and did a 50% water change with water from another tank that is really well established as I thought it would help.
About 2 weeks later and it's already covered in algae again in the last pic? I'm not sure why it keeps happening, can anyone help?

    Because there’s nothing in the tank to eat whatever leftover nutrients there is.
