Hi Everyone! I have just ordered this male betta fish from Thailand who will be arriving sometime after Feb.
Just wondering- He looks pink and purple in the picture which is stunning! Is it likely that he could have the marble gene and so change colour over time? I'll be adding him to a 64 litre heavily planted bioactive tank.
His listing on the site is " Competition Halfmoon Multicolors Betta Fish (Male)"
it also states this is the one i will be getting, not breeders choice. I noticed the spots on the tail but not sure what that could indicate? Any experts please let me know!! <3

Looks like he does. Mine does too. They change colors a lot
Betta will change color the first week with proper care. If the betta is well cared for at the breeder which it looks like it might then the color shift will be less significant. But a lot of these bettas look different when you receive them in shipping from the picture that was taken god knows when.
