Looking for advice. My husband got me this great tank that he repainted. Still needs clean up but Im guessing it is about 25 gallons at 24 inches tall.
I thing it would great with a few tiny fish on the bottom and a tree frog on top.
I read the Whote Tree Frogs are easiest to care for but then also saw a few that it would be difficult to house with a water base.
Anyone have experience? Or other suggestions?

Build up a bank at the back, held in place with rocks and sealed with expanding foam/silicone. Then you can have your fish at the front and have hardscape and plants at the back and top for your frogs.
Tanner at Serpa Design often builds vivariums like that: https://www.youtube.com/user/SerpaDesign
That would be awesome to see. Cool idea! I wonder, would you have a fully planted setup?
I like the idea.
The problem with hex tanks is they are tall tanks with little surface area compared to the volume. Surface area is what determines bioloading, not volume and so as a straight up fish tank, you really should stock it as if it was a much much smaller tank. Plus it is hard to find fish that work in a small side to side space but lots of up and down space.
So your idea of a paludarium is a better use for a tank like this. And with water falls and such you effectively increase the surface area for gas exchange with the water, so the volume of water in the bottom half or third of the tank should be able to house a few very small fish.
Can you measure one of the six sides and I can do some calculations?
