First salt water rod how did I do ? I’ll be fishing from shore.
I’ll be targeting striped bass, and bream with jerk baits

I have the same rod and reel. I like it, good entry point combo. Love mine just remember rinse with fresh water every time you use it.
The I dry mine with a micro fiber cloth. I store all my equipment in the house climate controlled.
