Saw someone just do this and I’ve been wanting to for a while as well as I really don’t think anyone can tell how much a bass weighs solely off of the type of pic shown. Everytime I see someone post a picture of a bass holding it in this way all the comments are telling them it weighs massively less than what they’re claiming. In my opinion there is too many variables in this type of angle to truly tell how big a bass is but prove me wrong. What does the bass above weigh?

Actually I’m going to change my mind and say 4.5 after looking closer at the picture
Looks like 5 to me, but it’s almost impossible to tell from a Pic like this
Judging by the size of the hand vs. fish’s mouth, I’m calling 6 pounds on that one.
Thick but short, I’d say 3-4lbs.
I think I’ll agree with your point, bass pics can be super misleading if you’re estimating weight. That’s why I like to use length measurements.

I can with 100% certainty tell you that it’s 3.13 lbs.
Well that’s on the photographer if their pic is blurry or angled bad and asking for guesstimates from internet strangers.
