A squidtrex wouldn’t be my first choice for bonito. They’re big and expensive. A bonito is going to shred them with their teeth. All you really need is some 40-100 gram current sniper/megabait/crossbreed style metal jigs.

Shimano current sniper 60g / 2oz is my favorite lure for bones and albies on the east coast. I feel like it’d work just as well over there.
