Hey all, recently I’ve been trying to learn how to use soft plastic minnows but can’t seem to get a bite for the life of me. I’ve been using rage swimmers and kaitech east shiners/paddle tails on ball and under spin jig heads with varying retrieves. I usually start with slow straight retrieves then start/stop retrieves and yo-toe but usually I just end up snagging or ripping the swim baits from repeated casts/retrieves. Also for reference I’m usually using 1/8oz gamakatsu and reaction tackle ball heads.

Start fishing a TX rig fluke. That’ll wear them out. Kinda isn’t the time of year for swimbaits. Gotta fish them really slow.
