I purchased flies as a gift for my husband from The Fly Shop in Redding, CA.
I asked the shop employee for recommendations, as I’m unfamiliar.
He proceeded to pick them out but he didn’t explain to me what the names of the flies were. When I asked for an itemized receipt, he said no and just handed me a shop catalog saying to look at it ‘to find them myself.’
However, there are hundreds of flies in the catalog and I have no idea where to start!!
TYIA for your help, if you can just give the type so I know where to start, that would be helpful.

They don’t usually have itemized receipts for flys and I’ve always had great service at The Fly Shop in Redding. Surprised if they were shitty with ya. I’ve been fly fishing 10 years and wouldn’t remember most of the exact names of flies.
I won’t have the exact names of these but they gave you some really good flies here. The green and orange perdigon will absolutely crush the Mcloud River up there(if it’s reopened). Actually most of the ones in the bottom right box would be flies that should do excellent up there.
