It’s either eBay with ~15% fees, Facebook or Reddit with zero protection, or consignment shops that are ultimately buying your gear just to turn around and make money off it.

So we decided to do something about it.

CastBack.com was built from the ground up by two military veterans who love fly fishing and were tired of overpaying to buy gear and getting crushed on fees when selling it. Quite simply, there wasn’t a good option. So… we built one!

This is not another forum or unregulated classified site. At castback you pay securely through the site and receive payment the same way.

Now, the world isn’t fair, and building this platform wasn’t free. So we charge 5% per sale plus standard processing fees, which is still less than half of what eBay takes.

We’ve committed to donating 5% of everything CastBack earns to Project Healing Waters, helping veterans get out on the water through fly-fishing programs across the country.

So before you sell or buy your fly-fishing gear on eBay, Facebook, or sell it to someone else just to have them flip it, consider listing it on CastBack instead.
