I recently inherited my Grandpa's old reel. There is no model number that I can find but it is a Daiwa Millionaire. My questions are all about what I should use it for. My grandparents are/were from northern Indiana so I'm assuming it was only used for freshwater. I live in Virginia Beach/Tampa so I do a lot of saltwater fishing. I do do some bass fishing, but mostly saltwater. Is this reel something I should set up for bass or a vertical jigging in saltwater? Thank you for any information when I google it I don't really get this model.

A lovely bass reel that will sing after a good service/lubrication. I live in the same region, I use my round baitcasters on 7 foot medium inshore rods for wading mangrove edges, walking the beach on summer and, of course, bass fishing. Great to cast 3/8 to 3/4 plugs, jigs and metal.
