I’m a novice at this so take my word with a grain of salt, but it looks pretty good to me! Only concern would be I can’t tell if the rocks are textured or just have a speckled pattern but I’d be concerned about the fish scraping itself on them

It looks very good!! My only note would be a couple more plants but honestly I could see a betta being pretty happy in there 🙂

I’d recommend a liquid test kit, like the API Master Test kit! It’s pricey, but it lasts FOREVER. It’ll let you know for sure that it’s good, since the harmful stuff like ammonia is invisible to the naked eye.
The water level can be raised as well, it can be harmful to your filter and heater if they’re sticking too far out of the water. I keep mine at least half an inch from the top (it’s lidless so evaporates quickly).
