First of all, I’m not a hunter but a girlfriend to one and I don’t know much, but I do know that buck is a monster. I’m definitely showing my boyfriend when he gets out of the shower 😂 it’s making me a bit nervous hanging over the tank though.
CPDs are cool and fun to watch! My other suggestions would be rummynose tetras, or two schools of smaller shoaling fish like rasboras and pygmy cories. I don’t know if you have other fish or not though.

CPDs are awesome especially if you’re into fishing and hunting which it looks like you are. I always feel like they look like little trout, kinda like rainbow trout
