Betta Fish: His first bubble nest🥹 I’m gonna cryyy

October 20th my heart broke when I saw him in a dirty little cup at meijer. His colors were so pale and he was still just a young little dude. With $150 in my bank account I caved and bought him and all the basics. I’m still learning how to be a good fish mom and although he’s only in a 3.5 gallon for now he is doing so well! His infection on his head is finally healing after (a million different medications) and Kana plex I don’t know if I will need another round, but his colors are super vibrant from the fluval bug bites, and his fin growth is INSANE! And today I got to watch him build a bubble nest right outside his log (his favorite place) not breeding him but he would be the sweetest dad, so considerate to share his log 🥹! I’m hoping to upgrade to a rimless 10 gallon with real plants soon but I’m a broke teenager. Hopefully I will get one for my birthday I also asked for the api master water test kit because these strips don’t even give me ammonia levels and I believe he has ammonia burn that’s healing. Anyway that’s my transformation the second I get more money I’m going to spoil the little guy with plants, caves, a ten gallon tank and hoops this is just the beginning of our journey together!
