Betta Fish: Happy senior betta

my 3 year old betta has been moving around so much more than usual after i uprooted and excavated a ton of plants. it completely opened up the back of his tank and gave him more room behind his cave. he’s pretty much blind and hasn’t flared or shown much personality in months (he’s also losing color sadly) so i couldn’t be happier to see him re-exploring his tank. super surprised to see him at the top of the tank as well because he tends to stay in his cave or near the sand. just happy for my boy.
