The pea puffers I have get bored easily and can get nippy so I installed the underwater wave maker current fans to give them a river current to swim in and now they’re happy. They don’t pick on anyone because they’re too busy doing aerobatic maneuvers in the current. I really think the only reason they got nippy is because they’re so bored out of their mind. I also feed them dehydrated, brine shrimp they seem to enjoy it and it brings their colors out. I do very their diet as well. I put boiled leaves of lettuce, really any kind works, but mine like iceberg the best I put the leaves in the tank one or two at a time once a week the shrimp and the fish, all love the lettuce. Best of luck to you. Edit: I do have neo shrimp with my pea puffers, and I’m sure they get a few of my babies, but, to combat that I have a small medium size driveway granite gravel covering the under gravel PVC filtration I designed so the shrimp babies go down in the rocks of the aquarium and no fish can get them, you could have the same effect with a small medium gravel pile in your tank rocks that are irregularly shaped and a half an inch to an inch in size all thrown together. hope it helps

You’re going to get really tired of doing water changes if that’s the pitcher you use. How old is the tank? You need to let it cycle before adding any fish.

No fish. Only shrimps and pest snails
