Caught this lil guy. First fish ever! Very new, extremely amateur angler here. I’m hooked.

Pun absolutely intended. Buddy of mine took me out pond hopping on a whim one day and got me interested. Went and got me a $25 rod from academy with some basic tackle, and snagged this guy same day at a local neighborhood “lake” on a pumpkin lizard texas rig 🤙🏼

Felt like I was living under a rock, how have I been missing out this long?! About to head out for another round this morning. Can’t stop now! 🎣
