Betta Fish: How can I provide my beta with the most enrichment?
Anyone have any recommendations for making my beta as happy as possible. He isn’t showing any signs of stress or anything like that. I just want to make him happy lol.

play with him. spend more time in front of the tank doing random tasks so he can observe, like folding clothes or stuff. show him objects, be gentle and no quick movements. beautiful tank btw.

Genuinely, he is a predator. Give him something to hunt.
Live feeding if insects and mosquito larva will make him happier and healthier than you’ve ever seen him

Over Xmas holiday weeks I would play around with wrapping bows by showing it to my fella to chase across the tank wall. I gave him a few minutes at a time to flare at it but mostly he wouldn’t flare much and instead was twirling around as he chased it for a few minute intervals a couple times a week. He has a little jungle in his tank with caves that he explores all day in. Such a curious little guy. So cute. I love these water puppies so much. 🥰
