How does my tank look now? I just redid it, and plan to get more plants. I just bought the Java fern and Amazon sword and 2 plants above tank. Switched to a different light. Bought a new filter that I can adjust flow (yes I ran it with other filter for a while before removing the old filter to keep the beneficial bacteria)
Top picture was before, bottom is now. He’s in a 10 gallon tank.

Looks good. The plants will look great once you add more. It went from a 3 to a solid 8 1/2 imo.
looking super good!id add some driftwood and anubias attached to it (he will use the leaves as hammocks for rest on)
That’s a great start! Looks way better. The more plants the better and I think your betta will be happier with a planted natural looking habitat.
