Looking for a relatively cheap combo that makes Sunfish like this feel fun and that can handle some bass of decent size as by catch from a worm and bobber (in cad)

What do you mean by cheap? Under $100? Under $50?
Under $100 I bought the Leland’s TCB combo for $80ish in October last year. The reel is crap(but should work) but the rod is fantastic! I use it with my Regal LT and have a blast catching the tiny ones.
Under $50 I’d recommend Shakespeare Micro 7 feet light version. It is definitely sensitive enough to handle small panfish and I’ve caught occasional bass as well. It’s $25, add any other decent $50 and you have a great combo. I also have the 5’6″ version but it’s too noodly. I don’t enjoy it as much as the 7′.

The dock runner is too short to make decent casts, but they have their place.. I own 1!
I have a couple panfish combos, one is higher end and one is for “fun”
The fun one is a 6′-6″ Bass Pro Shops Micro Lite Glass rod… Aka the banana rod. I put a cheap lews reel on there (2500 size due to the reel seat on the rod). It’s become my favorite combo for blue gill and sunfish. Can handle bass as well. All in, the combo cost about $50
