I may have overfed the tank for a few days and my girl is starting to look chunky. Hopefully thats it and shes not pineconing š

She def looks a little bloated but I donāt think she seems to be pineconing. Itās easier to tell looking at them top down imo. Iād def fast for a day or so

awe is that a balloon belly mollie in the back?? i have 3 of them!! be careful though because they do nip at finsāŗļø I donāt know a whole lot about bettas but he/she is beautiful!!

Hopefully she is fat at best. Pineconing at worst, not to say pineconing canāt be treated (very low chance for survival if it is) but if sheās just fat cutting down on the feeding is much better than having to use meds

Mollies and guppies both nip at bettas fins, Iām seeing some pretty bad fin damage along with serious bloating. Canāt tell about pineconing, take a look top down to see if the scales seem to be lifting away from the body. At minimum, give her her own tank and fast for about 3-4 days then give some daphnia for constipation, that should help a little bit
