*NEW TO FISHING SO ANY TIPS & ADVICE IS MUCH APPRECIATED
Picked up this daiwa regal 2500 for my bass fishing build the other day, without realizing my budget combo at home is a 2000 (realized this after the fact😭) should I trade in this 2500 for a 3000? Currently have a budget 6’6 medium fast combo as my go to (pictured above)

What’s the issue with the regal? 2500 is a perfect size for bass fishing plenty of line way more then you will cast. I have a pebble fierce 4000 I love it but def don’t need it for bass fishing . I been looking at 2500, for a spinning combo for fresh water I honestly enjoy the bait casters more for the speed though
That reel is perfect. No need to return it.
The regal 2500 will have plenty of line for bass fishing.
2500s have slightly more drag and a slightly faster speed than 2000s but I thought those ones came in the orange box I don’t ever remember seeing a tan box.
