I’m making an underwater volcano scene in a 35 gal cube I recently bought. It’s still a work in progress, but I want to show off a little. I 3D printed a base to hold a 24 RGB LED ring (encased in epoxy). The lava rock is from Home Depot. They’re held together with aquarium epoxy putty. A 3” air stone is in the middle. I’m using an Arduino Nano to control the ring and a 256 LED panel on the top. I’ve got to make a hood and compartment for the LED panel and set up a real time clock in the Arduino to use as a timer.

The first residents 7 albino corries (1"), and they like the volcano. They hide in it, search around the LEDs and ride the bubbles. It’s been challenging to find them sometimes because they are all about exploring the other lava rock scattered around.
