Aquariums: What should I do with this 1 gallon cube?
I found this little glass prison in my basement and thought I could make something out of it. Is there any shrimp species that can be kept in this, it would be a filterless setup.

Neocaridina shrimp or snails.
You can even do a mini aquascape in this if you wanted,

Plants and snails, personally don’t recommend such a small tank even for shrimp.

I wouldn’t actually recommend a neocaridina shrimp colony for less than 2.5 gallons. That’s the generally accepted minimum. I do hear opae ula can go smaller, but I’ve not kept them myself so I can’t speak to that.
Could be a nice little plants only setup, or you could do a less showy, hardier invert like Asellus isopods.
