I just recently switched my beta from a 3 gallon to a 10 gallon cycled tank. Today I started taking apart the 3 gallon and I put a little tunnel toy into the new tank from the old tank and all this white stuff came off of it. I turned the filter on high in the new tank and used the net to scoop most of it out, but not sure what it is and if I need to do more?

it kind of just looks like old food and waste to me? if youre feeding flakes that is. if not, maybe some type of biofilm?
did you wash it at all?
