Hit the river with a fresh batch of homebrew plastic worms to chase trophy Guads today. Given that the world record Guadalupe bass is only 4 lbs and change, anything over 12” is generally considered a trophy. Most folks throw small lures but they have no problem eating 6” worms and that helps keep the wee ones at bay (mostly). No record today, but a fun time on the water with the birds, bass, and plenty of solitude.
