This cap comes off. Is it supposed to? It looks like it was supposed to be glued. I'm new to fishing, so I don't know if it's supposed to do that, or if I need to return it or glue it.

Return it, that happened on mine too but after like 2 years of use so obviously couldn’t return it. I just glued it back since honestly I don’t care. But if you just bought it, exchange for another
