Completely new to being a betta parent. He was listed as male at the store and I fell in love with him immediately. I have a house for him and a soft fake plant for now so any and all advice on tank upgrades to keep him happy is appreciated.

how big is his tank? his water needs to stay around 75 – 78 degrees. add live plants if possible, the more the better (if not possible, add fake silk plants instead), he also needs a filter. and one more thing, did u cycle ur tank for atleast 2 wks b4 adding ur fish?
