I bought this little one from a local petshop for my new cube! He, or she is so tiny, i can’t figure out the gender. They were being sold as female,but i don’t see an eggspot and their ventral fins seem quite long for a female. What do you guys think?
Hope this little one will enjoy their new home (excuse the cloudiness, i dosed some beneficial bacteria last night and now it’s in the water column,lol)

it is very hard to distinguish between them until they get their full color and fin length
Hii! ☺️ I can’t see the ovaries, so maybe it’s a male! But wait for a few weeks or months then see if they have the ovaries , you can search Google on what Betta ovaries look like, and since your Betta is light colored it will be seen very easily if it’s a female.
