Penn Battle 4000 vs 5000

I know penn battle gen 1 is ancient at this point, but $70 sale price seems decent. is there any advantage of getting 5000 over 4000 or vice versa for all round inshore, bank and pier fishing in South Florida? Both combo include 7ft rod but 4000 comes with medium rod which has cork handle and 5000 comes with medium heavy rod that has foam handle.
