Going to do some afternoon/night surf fishing in Socal. Was wondering if this glow stick would help attract fish?

I do it hard to tell if they make a difference but i like to think it helps and theyre cheap so i toss them on at night

Caught plenty of fish and sharks on the same rig. I used it on heavy overcast and low light nights. Couldn’t hurt. Cant say it was 100% the reason I caught fish.
