I just got this blue neon goby today before realizing they are not recommended for tanks that are less than 6 months old, my tank is ~3 months old but has a lot of stuff in it from my 3.5 year old tanks, how do I know whether there is enough biofilm for him? My two older tanks are still running (at a different apartment), am I able to move biofilm from the older tanks somehow?

I cant focus on anything you are saying im sorry😭😭😭😭
blue neons are really neat little omnivores. they eat algae, but mostly while grazing through it in search of micro-inverts. you should have plenty of algae, but you can also feed these dudes some algae wafers or the occasional tubifex
