Just picked up a used humminbird Helix Ice bundle. Only has 55 hours on it and thought it was a good deal. So went out and tried it for 30 minutes or so and previous owner had it set for down view which works nice. If I move the transducer to a more forward mode do I need to adjust anything on the unit itself or just adjust the transducer???

Looks like you need an ice transducer for it. XI 9 1521
On the unit itself in the settings you can switch it from forward to down as well as put it in auto and it will switch the screen for you as you switch the transducer
