Shocked at how companies are still pushing this. 1 Gal is barely enough for one zoomie for them!

I have my 2 bettas in 5gals, my long fin male struggles to swim but is really happy, so I think the 5gal is perfect for him as he stays in his corner he builds his bubble nest most the time and only rarely comes out for a swim around his tank, during feeding time or if he sees me. I am upgrading my female betta to a 10gal as she is so active and I feel bad for her
But definitely would not go below 5gal.
I think 1 gal is really awful and should only be temporary like moving etc

You could keep a human in solitary confinement for their life but absolutely not ok. Did shrimpy business use AI for their descriptions or are they known for bad practices?

Even when I entered the hobby around 2012, the minimum was 2.5g.
