How do I install a Breaker? This is for a c2 30 Minn Kota.
Do I just cut the red wire and connect it to each side?

I just noticed this battery box has a breaker but it’s for 60 Amps … Not sure what to do.

Isn’t the box on the lower right a breaker?
If you’re cutting the cable, sounds like you’re talking about an inline fuse?

You want a 50-60 amp breaker. I’m sure your trolling motor pulls more than 30 amps. You will be resetting it all the time. But yes, normally you cut the positive wire and attach to both sides of the breaker.

Do you have a top for your box? I bought a Newport battery box with everything built in… breaker, USB, lighter and battery meter…$40 (that was 3 years ago tho).
