A while back I was pulling a snag out with this reel and noticed it sounded different after I had gotten the snag out. Just curious if this is supposed to move and if it is related to the sound change. All help is appreciated.

Watch a YouTube video on how to disassemble from the other side, it’s not that difficult and then you can see what’s busted and order the parts you need

Did the pinion bearing fail? Need to pull the handle side plate off and inspect.
