Carp are highly under rated on a fly rod. Not something you’d want to fish for solely, but heavy fish. Like a combo of smalleys and trout. Head down runs…. Even jumps. Sadly, no one wants to post carp pics on IG.

Yeah carp on the fly are great for sure, but what’s the population like in South America? How wildly are they distributed?
