I have a few Eskimo Mako M43 ice aguers. All of them have had the fuel tank grommet dry out a bit and shrink, which caused fuel to leak from around it. I've looked online and the grommet is a bit hard to find, especially in Canada. There seems to be some co fusion from suppliers, and a lot of the kits with the correct part number have three holes in the grommet, instead of just one. I did find one correct one, but it was more expensive than I wanted to pay, and it will be an issue again in a year or two.
Anyways, I saw a video online where a guy cut a square of rubber from a tire tibe, poked a small hole for the fuel line to go through, and then pushed the tube rubber, and the grommet through the hole in the fuel tank. I tried it today and it worked like a charm! Figured I'd post this here because I feel like the grommet leaking is a common issue.
I trimmed the rubber to a smaller size after the pic was taken.

Can you share that video by chance? I just picked up one of these yesterday used for $200 canadian. Started up first pull in -40c but it does have a slight fuel leak as well. Curious if this would be the fix to my problem as well
