What I'm trying to do here is tie a knot in the r bend so I can attach clips and have improved spinnerbait wire strength, this is 20 lb braid tied with a 4 wrap uni knot, is it too tight? Or will it help keep strength without effecting action too much

I don’t do that and I never have issues. Just use the swivel on it. But it’s a good idea you have, and it should work.

Should be fine. You can gently bend the wire up if the blades are clipping the skirt during use.
This is perfect. Will prevent the main line from slipping all about the wire. Good to go.
