Betta Fish: First day in the tank

My new peaceful, observant, beautiful betta.
I watched him in the pet store for a while and noticed that he was watching me. He reminded me of my old betta Buddy (RIP). After Buddy died, I had left the tank without a Betta for months because I didn't want anyone who wasn't similar to him. I also didn't want a new betta coming in and bothering the small tetras.
Luckily, like I predicted from his behaviour at the store, he doesn't. He's absolutely Zen.
