Betta Fish: Unexpected lil dude

I lost mizu about a month ago after a year of having her to a freak accident 💔 she was the absolute coolest fish and I was heartbroken. I was not planning on getting another one for a while, as my tank turned into a blue dream breeding tank…. but i saw this guy the other day and fell in love. He's been showing off some opal coloring the past couple days. ive never been one for big fins but here we are 🥰
