Couldn't help myself — have a cycled tank sitting empty after my girl with cancer died. He looks like some kind of hybrid? I know he's not a halfmoon like he's labeled.

What makes you say he’s not a halfmoon? As for color wise and anything else, will be easier to tell once he’s comfortable enough to color up!

Looks like a halfmoon! Could be plakat or possibly mislabeled as male instead of female (this is insanely common in chain pet stores)
