Id love to give you guys an update on the sweet little guy that I came to y’all about, I was concerned that he was constipated and parasitic. He’s doing so much better and I couldn’t be happier :’)
Thank you to everyone who commented,, on your advice I treated his tank with api general cure and stopped feeding him bloodworms,, he’s on fluval bug bites now and loving them.
He was 15% off because he’d been there for months poor baby, but trust he is properly spoiled now. I’ve never loved a fish like this before,, I catch myself missing him when I’m not home. I’m so thankful he pulled through we had a couple scary days where he had a really hard time getting food in his mouth, it was like he was having a hard time seeing it and then when he did he couldn’t quite get his body to do what he wanted. But given time he seems to have worked himself out- he’s now coordinated and food motivated to say the least lol
he’s changed so much in only ~2 weeks I’m blown away, there were no hints of blue when I got him. I expected to see some red potentially but the blue was such a surprise. His fins even look a bit less ragged, certainly less pinched and that’s awesome.
I can’t wait to continue watching him grow and change and I hope for a long long time with him
