Are there and good places to bank fish near Tampa?
I'm a travel nurse near Tampa, tried this Little lake, too much vegetation. Does anyone have any recommendations for bank fishing down here?

Fish weedless? There’s fish in there.

Thanks, but yeah, I tried carolina rig lizard, Texas rig ol monster, swim jig, and frog/rat. Big balls of vegetation every time, it’s balled up on my sinkers. I’m used to TN lakes (and a boat.)

I did a guided trip on Lake Tarpon while there on travel work. The boat ramp at AL Anderson park, maybe? The park also offered a decent amount of bank fishing spots. Good luck!

I know of a couple small lakes/ponds in Wesley chapel area

A Bagley’s Grass Rat, would skate right over those Lilly pads. Reel it over the pads, then pause it in the openings. It could be explosive.
