Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my small little family of fish. Currently I have 2 males, father and son, and 4 girls.

The one female has glow genes, which I'm excited to introduce into my breeding program. (The seller didn't inform me of her glow genes, which I understand "can" cause genetic issues due to their high COI. So this is something I will be monitoring as I move forward. But since she isn't being line bred, I'm hopeful all will be well. )

My goal is to create a hardy, healthy line of fish that have exciting "confetti" pops of color on a light colored base. Currently setting up a more streamlined aquarium set up for them. I've seen some great ideas out there regarding set ups. I hope to have something amazing by summer time.

(The 2 young females pictured together are in a 10 gallon/heavily planted temporary quarantine tank. They will be separated by the end of the week. The snowmagedeon has delayed the arrival of theirs separate set ups. So far they have not been aggressive towards each other. I've been watching them like a hawk!)

Everyone one else is separately housed and happy.

Thanks for looking!
