I’ve removed the pineapple and other stuff but left Patrick (cuz he’s cute but lmk if I should remove) added the live plants and a driftwood. I’ll definitely get a coconut hide & moss when I’m back from my trip! (there weren’t many options at the shop I was at) Water test kit from Amazon is arriving soon!
Are there too many plants and is there anything else I should add?

If you are 100% sure that Patrick and the pink things are safe you can keep them, personally I don’t like artificial looking things in my tank
The more plants the better!! They love to have their own jungle to explore

This is my minnow tank for reference since I don’t have any of my Betta tanks, I could honestly even add more plants. My favorite plant is water wisteria because it grows super fast and is super hardy!
