I just need to learn how you guys get your driftwood to stand up in cool positions without being worried it will fall and crush your fish lol

Imo, no. I got a 5 gallon too and it is heavily planted as well. I think, a little more fuller than yours. I feel, he got more comfortable the more it filled in as now he has all kinds of hiding spots and places to rest his fins. I have already started trimming mine a bit now and then to keep the insanity, sane…for me! =)

No, it’s absolutely beautiful! All those plants and things make up his daily enrichment – I think you can never give a Betta too many plants, wood, rocks etc. I’m a very heavy planter too – I just see how my fish interact with their environment and try to provide them with even more!😊

nope, as long as the betta is not physically pushing through plants, your tank is not too heavily planted.
