This was actually my first wood working project. Turned out pretty decent but I have designs for sliding dovetails and mitered joints with oak. Built it after selling my house and temporarily moving in with my now wife before we bought a house together. Needed some space saving/organization after combining households.
As for the artwork, I found some designs online I liked and stenciled them on. And then I hand burned them into the wood. Never again! lol. I now have a laser engraver and CNC as a result of this side project and now have a decent side hustle going on that pays for itself.
Used a French cleat system to hang it on the wall.
