We saw him in a Petsmart and knew right away that we had to save him. We had gotten a 10 gallon tank and were wanting to get a betta fish from an actually ethical local fish store but were just looking around when we spotted him (a king betta who’s much larger than any of the others, I didn’t even know king bettas were a thing until I saw him) in that small of a cup with all of his fins scrunched up to his body and knew we had to save him!
I’m so proud of his transformation! I didn’t expect him to turn so dark but he did and I love it! I think it’s very unique

I love seeing the betta glow ups!
I recently got a male plaket Koi and im curious if hes going to change patterns, vibrancy or color, im waiting patiently each day. But completely happy if he stays the same colors (I dont want him to lose his sparkly bright blue)
