I'll be fishing this Northern Ontario Lake, first week of June. Looking for some ideas and thoughts on where we should post up to target the big walleye and pike.
We know they're in here, would just like to discuss possible locations where we might find them.
Thanks, and tight lines!

Shallow water in the spring and fall, deeper water in the summer 🤘🏼 (shallow to deep to shallow migration)
first week of June is my favorite time to fish for pike in northern ontario – big females are going to roam shallow(4-7′ depth) areas, especially big chunk rock, boulders and grass lines. I like using 4″ spoons and trolling at 1.5-1.9 MPH
Walleye are usually on deeper rock piles and humps, 18-25′ of water with a jig head and minnow, vertical jigging. We’ve gotten pretty lucky some years and caught walleye while trolling for pike.
i have to show this map to my day, he loves fishing and he will be so thankful!
I’d troll with spinners and cranks all over that big shallow flat. Close the drop off sun up and sun down. Leeches on the spinners if you can get them. Crawlers if not.
