I do not recommend doing this. That just adds a weak point to your mainline. It may also cause further knots if that knot is on the spool while you cast.
If you can’t undo the knot, just cut below it and retie your leader.

This is literally just a uni-to-uni knot with extra steps lol. If you’re gonna do that just cut above and below the knot to begin with so you have your tag ends.
